I posted my experience on a forum and it was deleted. Anyone know why? I wish I had stumbled on these comments before wasting money, I could have a website live now with the money I paid these crooks.

Found lots of bad press about this website. Unfortunately I paid before I read the warnings, the prices don’t add up to what they state. Did some digging and I don’t seem to be the only one ... few squids lost, still gutted to be honest.

All and I mean literally all the suppliers can be found free on the first few results pages of Google. The rest are broken links... How to throw money away

Recently I asked a refund of my subscription fee to wholesalepages.co.uk The information that I found was out of date and the quantities and prices quoted are simply untrue. I have since tried to contact support but they are refusing my refund request.

They charge money for information that is available for free elsewhere. Essentially I have paid for something that Google and other directories provide for free...

You are doing a great service by warning people against a genuine scam. I have seen a blog full of false reviews about the wholesalepages scam. As one who has been burnt by not just one but five different suppliers on their stupid list I can tell you I am extremely vexed.

I wonder why some of these reviews sound like they were written by an Indian search engine optimisation company. Do not I repeat NOT go near this wholesale site. Wholesale pages airs this impression of legitimacy, but the suppliers are everything but. Got scammed twice, most suppliers are useless, and takes endless time to check on each. There are other wholesale directories that are 1000 times better. As I digged deeper looking for wholesale pages reviews in Google it appears they own a network of duplicated directories, so be very careful not to give your money away. What I also don't understand is why they ask for money when a simple search in Google reveals the website address of the suppliers. I know I was stupid to give my money away, on hindsight a quick search in Google would have immediately revealed that the suppliers on display are not what wholesale pages makes them out to be. Overall very disappointed.

In my book this is a scam. Most prices are fake. The few that are correct do not include the vat which makes the prices too high and worthless for online selling.

Very basic, even if it was free I would rank it poorly. Price information is not accurate and the majority of times prices are more expensive than sourcing from eBay / Amazon.

The site looks ok, however once paid the contents are of very little value, certainly not worth £20. Mostly high street wholesale shops which can be found on google and which are way too expensive... Ok so I paid for this crap. At least 10 of the links directed me to restaurants, yes restaurants websites! The list is very small and not worth forking the money out.

What a scam! There was a product for £3.50, they didn’t say it was without vat, ebay price 4.99, they said margin 43%, but if I add vat the price is 4.20 and not 3.50... If I then add delivery to me, delivery to the customer and ebay fees I can see I am out of pocket. A real rip off, very disappointing!

Has anyone filed a case against these crooks? They are selling crap information that is available on free directories. I found the fact later, by the time I had paid for the lifetime membership a total waste of money. The database is cluttered and randomly arranged. Broken links are quite common. How many people they must be ripping off?

It’s a gutter, one of the worst services I have ever tried. Lost a few hundreds. A pit of street smart middlemen and fly-by-nighters. Hell not surprised it’s Pakistan based.

Wholesalepages is an exact duplicate of dailytrader, the latter is free and both are very outdated. Many of the links are broken, maybe on purpose. A quick check on the company names on Google revealed companies that no longer trade. I almost ended up dealing with a very bad apple but was quick to spot the scam; they don’t appear to verify the suppliers. The list also contains a high percentage of small-timers.

Epic scam

Absolutely rotten and unresponsive customer service, these idiots don’t understand the value of customers. Once paid, they treated me very badly and behaved as if they are doing a favour by offering me a membership. I’m a newbie retailer, I wanted assistance, that’s why I paid. Hell, this service sucks; no assistance, few crap and impractical sources, delayed responses, incorrect pricing, irresponsible suppliers…

Saw some sample ebay items and thought the margin might be there. Then realised the item had sold last in 2011 and is now much cheaper on ebay, cheaper than the wholesale price on their site! 360 degrees rip off my friends, it hurts just thinking about it...

I struggled a lot with this wholesale pages, suppliers are slow and too casual. I recently stopped using their site after 4 months but they didn’t follow through with a refund.

Wholesalepages are scam city. I joined them last week, and when I contacted one of the suppliers in their directory, they told me to go somewhere else, and also told me that wholesalepages do not have any rights to sell their details. So my Wholesalepages membership is now useless as a 20 year old stamp. I wish I have read reviews about them first. Oh boy, I would not have wasted my membership money with them.

I paid up for this subscription, I feel I have wasted my money. I couldn’t see the benefit. The database is nothing but absolute Junk; copied data from various free sites. As it’s a copied data I often faced issues such as broken links, unverified suppliers, outdated supplier details etc, for example, one of the suppliers I contacted had closed his business long back in 2007. It seems they have been selling the same old info to retailers for years, haven’t ever bothered to update the database and remove outdated supplier data. I also ran into scams a few times. There are a few free directories better than this useless crap.

I was tempted by the low fee which soon turned into additional fees to access other sections, prices and products do not correspond to samples shown, most prices are ex vat, overall worthless and gutted to learn it’s a scam.

I have recently learnt that this list is controlled by some of the worst uk dropshipping scams. Basically they use it to “recommend” their own rip off services. Talk about a polluted list! Of course I did not get any money returned but you can rest assured I will never stop reporting this sham!

Just to let everybody know about wholesalepages .co.uk I joined them for £20 not the normal £40 for a life time membership as they looked good what a waste of time and money they are the same few wholesalers under different Categories and you can find them all for free on Google after you have ruled out the ones that are a minimum order of £50 plus and the ones that are a large membership fee i.e.£150 and over there is not a lot left

It’s a scam. Ever since getting in I lost money to this scam directory and their suppliers, I have been observing their activities online and I was shocked when I found them posting own reviews on various review sites. You can find similar ratings across reviews sites. I later found out that they also own other copied directories; some are free directories which have the same list as this one. Beware; it’s a big scam network.

I got attracted by the good appearance and layout of this site, but the rip-off started once I signed up for paid membership. To my surprise most of the listed suppliers of my niche were those whom I found on a free directory. Contacted a couple of suppliers who said the products were out of stock and prices were also too high. I felt terribly disappointed and mailed them to ask for a refund to which I didn't get any reply, called them, *** no body picked calls, finally managed to speak to a representative who flatly refused for refund and was not at all interested to listen to my complaint. I just disconnected the call out of frustration. Worthless service, not at all recommended.

If you are a retailer, you must be aware of the fact that the most troublesome thing for a retail buyer is to source reliable suppliers. In the past, whenever I dealt with any supplier, I always had the fear of getting scammed, but to do business I had to take risks. Well, what to say, my worst fear came true within a few days of joining Wholesale Pages, one of their suppliers scammed me badly. I received poor products at high prices which I managed to sell anyway but later received n number of complaints from customers, I had to take back the products and pay back the money to some of my loyal customers. I lost my reputation in the market due to this scam directory and its fraud supplier. I am still trying to recover from the bad incident and working really hard to repair my damaged reputation and to regain lost customers. I didn’t try out other suppliers from their list as I could not take further risk. I advise everybody to avoid Wholesale Pages, their database has far too many scam artists.

Guys beware!!!!! This is a major rip off site. I signed up for a paid membership. I was very happy to find a list of relevant suppliers of my niche products. But I got to know the reality when I contacted them, some didn’t have stock at all, few others were not wholesalers (that was a shocker) and finally I found two suppliers whose prices were too high that I couldn’t see any possibility of making profits. I contacted their customer support, pathetic; those guys didn’t even know how to deal with a customer, so irresponsible and casual. They flatly refused for a refund.

I have a gift shop and I was looking for a resource to find relevant suppliers as I planned to keep my stock fresh and updated. I joined Wholesale pages unfortunately and the rip-off started immediately what I found were very poor value products and incorrect discounts with prices above retailers’ prices, in some cases even higher than my competitors once I accounted for everything. I intend to get into the toy Industry but will not use this poor directory service again ever. Asked for a refund, but I didn’t get any response, Never again.

As per my research findings, Wholesale Pages is the biggest and largest scam network in the UK whole sale industry. My findings reveal that they run multiple duplicate directories, sites and blogs to scam people. From a reliable source I got to know that their membership count has been decreasing ever since many people have come to know about their scam activities and thus they have started posting fake positive reviews across sites in order to lure innocent customers.

I tell you, wholesale pages is a big rip-off site, the fraud group has scammed so many people. They pretend to show an attractive offer to lure customers but then it proves to be false and they are still continuing. I am a retailer dealing in Bags, bag parts, accessories and repairing tools, hand bags, wallets etc and was unfortunately a member of wholesale pages. The suppliers in their list are a bunch of rip-off merchants. I suffered a lot dealing with one of them from whom I got low materials which I couldn’t use, later I had to clear it through a clearance sale offering heavy discounts which ultimately resulted in a loss. I agree with you guys there. I never thought this had happened to many people like me. I got a very bad response from this site. I got their premium membership to look for suppliers. Yes I got a few relevant to my business, and when I contacted them they said they didn’t sell any goods on wholesale, they were retailers. I told them that I found them on wholesale pages; they replied they didn’t know how they were included in the directory. I was worried; I realized that I lost my money. I even contacted them, but didn’t get any reply. I later did search them on Google, which I should have done much before. I was like shocked to see the volume of complaints getting registered against them. They are confirmed fraudsters.

Fake wholesalepages reviews written by wholesale pages

This is a notoriously bad wholesale directory based in Pakistan that pretends to be UK based. My experience with this site has not been good at all, from their fake reviews they claim to list verified sellers which I know is untrue. Most of the listings are not wholesale but more retail sellers. Some of the retailers claim to offer wholesale prices but their prices are much higher than online retail prices and there is no room for profit. Also most of the prices exclude VAT which makes any hope for profit even less. It appears they are hiring someone to post fake reviews about themselves, I know for a fact many of the suppliers listed are famous fraudsters which many have recommended to stay clear of. It's very disappointing to read that a site that claims to offer help for resellers is in fact a masquerade for both the owners who appear to be running a chain of duplicated sites, and for the fraudulent suppliers that are allowed to advertise on this site.

Contacted them before paying money, they guaranteed correctness of prices or my money back. When I faced them with the fact that the prices are understated they gave me all sorts of excuses saying I was lying and I would not be refunded. Scam! Also lots of broken links and middlemen. Avoid!

I happen to be in UK and thankfully it saved me. I live in London and I met a supplier who claims to be operating from London too. He gave me his business address thinking it was just to satisfy a customer but I'm too well aware of online scams so I took a drive down to see it only to find out that none of it existed. I told the supplier about this and he just started ranting. This site has fake suppliers who are working to empty your pockets with fake deals and fake products. I am a premium member and only regret being one. My money is wasted as the data on it is nothing more than trash. All of it can be found via Google search and this only adds insult to injury. I got free information by paying up, what a lousy scam sitewholesalepages.co.uk is.

I now understand why there are reports showing this company posts its own reviews. The amount of rip off sellers in this directory is disgusting, and to ask for payment is absurd. Having learned it is a copy of a free directory was even more annoying. They have refused a refund despite showing them extensive evidence that the suppliers are nothing but middlemen and retailers disguised as suppliers. The prices are fake, some of the goods are counterfeits and they are not a UK business but a Pakistan business. Talk about stealing goodwill from yellow pages. Whomever joins this site deserves all the bad luck it will bring, it's made for gullible people who don't know better and cannot distinguish a very bad website when they see one.

Guys this is what happened to me after using this site. I had three ebay accounts and fortunately I have managed to salvage one. The other two are gone for good, and it all started when I followed what initially appeared to be a genuine recommendation. I visited this site where I saw a price for some football shirts, I thought it looked a good deal and paid my money. I then started chatting with this supplier from Vietnam about the shirts. I know what you are thinking, am I stupid to deal with a Vietnamese seller of football shirts? Yes I was. To cut the long story short I started listing the shirts on ebay and low and behold my account was suspended permanently from trading. A second account followed the same fate. Somehow ebay knew they were related. Whatever you do, jump from a cliff before you use this site. And if you survive the jump, jump again... Bad decision.

DO NOT EVEN COME NEAR WHOLESALEPAGES! It's a huge scam; they'll only rip you off. Their webpage looks solid and legit, but it's a very good disguise for a terrible, terrible company! I thought that I would make business, as I had read some fake positive reviews. I was naive enough to fall into it and I've been regretting it ever since. DO NOT EVEN COME NEAR WHOLESALEPAGES! It's a huge scam; they'll only rip you off. Their webpage looks solid and legit, but it's a very good disguise for a terrible, terrible company! I thought that I would make business, as I had read some fake positive reviews. I was naive enough to fall into it and I've been regretting it ever since. It's been 3 months and I've not been able to cover the losses this has meant for my business.I tried posting my complaint on their website, several times, and it's like it keeps disappearing, so whenever I have the opportunity I'm trying to warn all the people I can.Think twice when you see offers that are "too good to be true"

First of all, there was hardly anything I could see on their webpage before I became a member. So, of course I signed up to give it a try (I was expecting to find a good deal of information). Don't bother wasting your money, there was absolutely nothing worthwhile. The information is not only outdated but you can also find most of it by browsing on Google. Secondly, half of the products don’t have descriptions, so in those occasions when the product is available from the supplier it is either the wrong size or not as shown.

Nothing special from this service, in fact even free I would question its value because of the time it took me to sort through the information and find anything of value or current. Don't even consider asking for a refund because they will ignore any suggestion that the information is a waste of money and start asking for explanations and giving excuses. I have repeatedly provided proof that the prices are much more expensive than they are advertising, and each time I was told they either made a mistake, the offer was not available, or that I had to order in large quantity to get the price. I thought what's the point, I can go to the liquidator directly for that purpose. The supplier directory is even worse, I don't know if it can even be called a directory, it's more like a roulette of broken websites and too many retail stores. Disappointed to say the least.

Wholesale pages has to be the worst website for wholesale buying I have come across, mostly middlemen readily found on google with no option to find a unique business niche. Deals and prices are also very outdated. I found it really difficult to start and conduct a profitable business with this site, a continuous hit and miss trial method that overall cost me dearly. The ebooks and guides on offer are stolen downloads and available for free, the articles are outdated and the information is inaccurate. The cost of the membership has now mounted up with the losses I have incurred. For these reasons I cannot recommend this site and consider it a vicious scam that I will now avoid.

Was reading a few fake testimonials posted by this company and came across clear evidence of fraud. The owner wrote pretending to be a German premium seller, which this website has none of. Like others I have been refused a refund, it's a scam list run out of Pakistan. That's enough said from me.

Prices are very deceiving, most do not include vat/p&p which when added is equal to or more expensive than eBay price. Didn’t see the point of paying and like others have been refused a refund.

People this site is a scam. If you see a charge from either imzee consulting or wholesale resources on your card, cancel it straight away. They are using cards for all sorts of scams including purchasing stolen software licenses.

I felt myself lucky when I got 80 percent markup on the clothing lot I purchased. I found wholesale Pages luckily and checked its “special offers” section because it stated that it offers over 100 percent markups. Keeping my fingers crossed, I browsed this section. I was fully prepared to be scalped but my jaw fell on ground when I found real bargain offers especially dedicated to wholesale pages by different companies. I felt myself lucky when I got about 40 percent markup on the clothing lot I purchased. After this experience, I am always on the search for discounted deals in special hand picked offers. I would they are doing great job by providing reliable sources to customers like me.

Wholesale pages is a copied name from yellow pages, this should have been a sufficient warning. The analogy ends here. Worst directory I have ever tried, wants money for outdated information and the prices are all wrong.

My 2 year old ebay business was shut down and paypal frozen thanks to these muppets. I still have 170 odd days to wait to get my money back if ever. My advice to you all is take it as a loss and move on, the information isn't worth risking your whole business over.

This is a notoriously bad wholesale directory based in Pakistan that pretends to be UK based. My experience with this site has not been good at all, from their fake reviews here on Ciao they claim to list verified sellers which I know is untrue. Most of the listings are not wholesale but more retail sellers. Some of the retailers claim to offer wholesale prices but their prices are much higher thanonline retail prices and there is no room for profit. Also most of the prices exclude VAT which makes any hope for profit even less. It appears they are hiring someone to post fake reviews about themselves, I know for a fact many of the suppliers listed are famous fraudsters which many have recommended to stay clear of. It's very disappointing to read that a site that claims to offer help for resellers is in fact a masquerade for both the owners who appear to be running a chain of duplicated sites, and for the fraudulent suppliers that are allowed to advertise on this site.

I am not a regular user of Wholesale Pages but I used it last year and really found it a great wholesale portal. I liked its features like; so many suppliers listed and the real ones, highly discounted price, huge database of millions of wholesale products of all types to choose from, user friendliness and an attractive and easy layout. I happened to purchase jewellery from one of the suppliers at the wholesalepages. I got good quality articles on great discounts which are the main promises of wholesale pages but I was a little disappointed from the supplier because my shipment got delayed. This inconvenience too was compensated as the supplier waived off my delivery charges. I earned a very handsome profit on resale. Overall it was quite a good experience dealing with this site and I look forward to using it in the future as well.

I was immediately able to find a number of handbag suppliers offering high quality products at special discounted rates. Now I am dealing with wholesalepages.co.uk from quite a time now and my experience with this portal has turned out to be quite good as now I always source products from it. Still I am unable to get enough time to explore its all tools but I am very much pleased and satisfied with the part of their service, which I use. My business got great exposure in little cost with this portal. It also helped me in identifying my competitors and comparing my prices with them. I am quite surprised to see very short reviews there. However, I can’t realize what the problem was in fact. But I would recommend every newbie going to start their enterprise.

I have never experienced a more deceiving site. Looks good, but that’s about it. Prices are nothing like claimed, suppliers don’t sell to start ups or ebay sellers, there are a lot of counterfeit goods showcased and worse of all I have no recourse because the company is based in Pakistan. Cheap but very deceiving.
